Hose pumps have a very wide range of applications, but are often limited by the material of the hoses. Our Crystal Clear hose is incredibly durable, and specially designed for peristaltic pumps. It achieves an average durability of 190 hours - tested on a 3-lobe pump at 600 rpm.
The hose has a high level of hygiene (complies with EU regulation 10/2011/EC, simulator A, B and C and FDA) and is therefore suitable for both food, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and cosmetics. Because it is made of a curing-free material and therefore does not need to be vulcanized, there is no risk of leaching residues of curing agents in the medium.
