Video: The role of hose guards - From wear to worry-free operation

This time, we turn our attention to another type of stress: wear, abrasion, corrosion and mechanical impact during operation. We look at how the right hose protector can reduce the risk of damage, extend service life and create more structure in production.

We offer three different types of hose protectors to match different production needs. Common to all of them: they protect, extend, and systematise. 

Rubber hose guard – targeted at the most exposed areas 

If you need to protect couplings and joints where pressure and temperature put the most strain on the hose, our flexible rubber hose guard is the obvious choice. It is made of durable nitrile rubber and developed for use in, for example, foam systems and cleaning setups where equipment is often connected and disconnected. The construction follows the hose's movements and reduces the risk of damage precisely where it most often occurs. 

Two-part solution – easy upgrade without interruption 

Do you want to protect hoses that are already installed in the system without interrupting operation? Then choose our two-piece hose guard. It is made of durable nitrile rubber and consists of two parts that you can easily click together. This allows you to quickly retrofit it directly onto the hose.  

The solution is particularly effective on floor surfaces, corners and machine zones where mechanical impact is part of everyday life. You increase durability without compromising flexibility or uptime. 

Spiral hose guard – a choice with many options 

The spiral hose guard is made of durable polyethylene and has a flexible fit. It is resistant to chemicals and provides effective protection against acids, oils, solvents and UV. With its antistatic property, it is also a safe choice in environments with special requirements for operation and safety. 

You can easily adjust the spiral to the length and position of the hose so that the protection covers exactly where it makes the biggest difference. 

When you choose hose protectors in different colours, you not only get a visual marker – you get an extra layer of control in your production. The colours make it easier to create structure and give you a quick overview when you need to identify:
