Mini Clamp union gasket with screen

Application

• Protection of process equipment such as pumps or heat exchangers
• Filtration at filling nozzles to prevent particles entering the process system
• As a safeguard for WFI systems (water for injection)

Construction

Designed as standard union gaskets for Mini Clamp, with an integrated stainless steel woven filter. The fineness of the filter is expressed as mesh or threads per inch – a fine filter has many threads per inch.

Material & quality:

• Elastomers: EPDM, platinum silicone, FKM, PTFE, Virgin PTFE & Steam-Flon®
• Stainless steel AISI 316L (1.4404

Standards:

EC 1935/2004, EU 10/2011, FDA CFR 21-177.2600, FDA CFR 21-177.1550, USP Class VI. The material is free from animal derivatives (TSE/BSE).
