Food 500

Application:

Composite hose made for suction and pressure in liquid and powder transportation. Suitable for alcohol and oily products. Can also be used for applications such as transfer to rail and tankers, loading and unloading, storage tanks and for use in plants.

To dissipate any electrostatic charges, the hose should be grounded with the installation.

Construction:

Constructed from multiple layers of thermoplastic material around Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. The hose is reinforced with AISI 316L stainless steel spiral both inside and out. Also comes with a weatherproof and durable outer cover made of polyvinyl, which is also available in elastane, a special PU-coated material that is extra resistant to UV, ozone, sunlight and weather. This ensures superior temperature and wear properties.

Food 500 can also be supplied with a special ATEX-approved black outer surface. All versions of the hose can be fitted with a wide range of accessories such as sanitary fittings DIN, SMS, RYT or Tri-Clamp.

Temperature:

The temperature ranges from -40°C to +100°C. The hose can be cleaned with steam or various chemicals.

Pressure:

All pressures are stated at the temperature +20°C.

Standards:

EC 1935/2004 GMP, EC 2023/2006 (GMP), EU 10/2011 (klasserne A+B+D2), DM 21/3/73, EC 1907/2006 (REACH), latexfree. The material is free from adipates. Supplied with batch number for full traceability.
