Food 500 is a composite suction and pressure spiral hose for transporting liquid and powder. The hose is suitable for alcohol and oily products. The Food 500 hose can be used for applications such as transfer to railway and tankers, loading and unloading, storage tanks and for use in plants.
Food 500 is made up of several layers of thermoplastic material around Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. The hose is reinforced with AISI 316 L stainless steel spiral both inside and outside, as well as weather-resistant and durable outer cover made of polyvinyl. Food 500 is resistant to UV, ozone, sunlight, and weather. The outer cover can also be delivered in Elastothane, a special PU coated material, which is extra resistant to UV, ozone, sunlight, weather and ensures superior temperature and wear properties. Food 500 can be supplied with a special antistatic black outer surface. All versions of the hose can be fitted with a large selection of accessories such as sanitary fittings DIN, SMS, RYT or Tri-clamp.
The temperature ranges from -40°C to +100°C. The hose can be cleaned with steam or various chemicals.
All pressures are stated at the temperature +20°C.
