The hose is designed especially for hose pumps with high wear resistance. Crystal Clear 55 is a hygienic hose suitable for food, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and cosmetics. The hose can also be used to transport media with alcohol up to 50%.
Crystal Clear 55 is made of thermoplastic TPE-S and hardening-free material that does not need to be vulcanized. Therefore, there is no risk of leaching of hardener residues in the medium (peroxide or platinum volatile residues). Good chemical resistance to acids and alkaline solutions and resistant to alcohol with max. 50% concentration.
The temperature ranges from -20°C to +80°C. Briefly up to +135°C.
The hose can be sterilized by autoclaving, ETO, and gamma radiation, and chemicals.
All pressures are stated at the temperature +20°C.
