Application:
FM mechanical seal with water flush for Alfa-Laval FM pumps 0-3.
Used in situations where there is possibility of dry run or for products that can crystallize between the seal plates.
Construction:
- The mechanical seal is an open type
- Consists of a double seal with connection for water flushing
- Provided with an O-ring that acts as secondary sealing around the shaft
- Is not directional
- The compression spring is open
