Application:

Mechanical seal for Alfa-Laval GM pumps, 1-2.

Construction:

  • The mechanical seal is an open type
  • Provided with an O-ring, which partly drives the rotating part, and partly acts as secondary seal around the shaft
  • Is not directional
  • The compression spring is open

Quality:

  • Spring in stainless steel
  • Gaskets in either nitrile or EPDM
  • The slide ring is in carbon or silicon
  • The seat is made of stainless steel AISI 316 with silicon insert
