Crystal Clear 55

Application:

Crystal Clear 55 is a hygienic thermoplastic hose specially designed for hose pumps (also known as peristaltic pumps), food, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and cosmetics. The hose has a high abrasion resistance and can also be used for media with up to 50% alcohol.

Construction:

Crystal Clear 55 is made of thermoplastic TPE-S and hardening-free material that does not need to be vulcanized. Therefore, there is no risk of leaching of hardener residues in the medium (peroxide or platinum volatile residues). Good chemical resistance to acids and alkaline solutions and resistant to alcohol with max. 50% concentration.

Temperature:

The temperature ranges from -20°C to +80°C. Briefly up to +135°C.
The hose can be sterilized by autoclaving, ETO, gamma radiation, and chemicals.

Pressure:

All pressures are stated at the temperature +20°C.

Standards:

EC 1935/2004, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), EU 2020/1245, EU 2024/3190, FDA CFR 21-177.2600, USP Class VI. The material is free from plasticisers, latex and bisphenol A (BPA). EU 10/2011 (classes A, B, C, D1). Supplied with batch number for full traceability.
