Vacuum flange, concentric reduction, KF
Application:
Vacuum flange according to the KF standard (Klein Flange) with built-in, concentric reduction, enabling two different pipe sizes to be connected directly within a single component. The flange ensures a smooth and centred transition in the vacuum system between components (such as pipes, valves and pumps) with different connection sizes. As the assembly can be fitted and removed entirely without the use of tools, it is ideal for flexible vacuum systems requiring frequent maintenance or ongoing changes to the configuration.
Construction:
The vacuum flange is designed as a one-piece, integrated reduction with a conical shape that minimises flow resistance and turbulence at the transition. It is fitted at both ends using standard centring rings with built-in gaskets, which are secured with external KF clamps. The construction ensures a quick and reliable seal, suitable for low, medium and high vacuum.
- Complies with DIN 28403 and ISO 2861 standards.
- Connections are available in sizes from DN25/10 to DN50/40.
- The vacuum pressure depends on the selected O-ring material.
Quality:
Manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel. The material and precise design guarantee optimum corrosion resistance and full compatibility with other standardised KF components in accordance with the applicable DIN/ISO standards.
Vacuum/negative pressure:
10-7 mbar.
