Reliable fluid & compressed air couplings for the process industry
With decades of experience, we specialise in developing and assembling technical solutions and components for many industries, with a particular focus on the food and pharmaceutical industries. Our fluid & compressed air couplings – known in many industries as quick couplings – are carefully selected to perform the many different functions found in various industries. We can supply coupling solutions both as part of a complete solution or individually, depending on your production needs.
As your sparring partner, we want to ensure that you get the solution that best suits your production. We know our products inside out and have put together a wide range to provide solutions for all needs.
Hygienic handling in food, pharmaceutical and chemical production
Our couplings are designed to solve specific challenges in busy production environments where every minute counts. We know that stability requires the right components. Our solutions are used in a wide range of applications, including:
- Process water and CIP fluids for effective cleaning.
- Compressed air for precise control of valves and pneumatics.
- Hygienic handling of food and pharmaceutical products.
- Aggressive media in chemical production.
In the food industry, our couplings support hygienic handling of liquids and ensure tight connections in your CIP and SIP areas. This is crucial when an operator needs to connect a mobile CIP unit to a filling machine. Here, the coupling must seal completely immediately to avoid wasting expensive cleaning chemicals and unnecessary time consumption.
When working with pharmaceutical production, our solutions contribute to stable processes with high requirements for both cleanliness and documentation. This applies, for example, in clean room environments where compressed air couplings connect pneumatic actuators on the process equipment.
For the chemical industry, we offer couplings that can easily handle aggressive media and varying temperatures. As our couplings enable quick connection and disconnection, they increase flexibility in both your fully automated lines and during maintenance tasks. Imagine you need to replace tools on a packaging line: your maintenance team must be able to quickly and safely disconnect the compressed air without the risk of dangerous hose movement.
Materials, quality and standards
We typically supply couplings in AISI 316 stainless steel, nickel-plated brass or galvanized steel. The choice depends on your medium, production environment and specific corrosion resistance requirements. Many of our compressed air components can handle a working pressure of up to approx. 35 bar and temperatures from -20 °C to +100 °C. This provides a robust solution for most industrial installations.
As a supplier, we are always up to date with the latest requirements for food and pharmaceutical production. This ensures that you get solutions that support both current legislation and your own internal quality standards. In hygienic environments, we often use AISI 316 and specific sealing materials so that the components can come into direct contact with food.
A complete range: From couplings for fluids to push-on fittings
We have a versatile selection of couplings and fittings that have been carefully selected to cover all the needs of your process plant:
- Couplings for fluids: Designed for safe media transfer without spillage, e.g. for process water, rinse water, cleaning and disinfecting fluids. Our range includes various thread types for easy integration into existing installations and wall outlets.
- Cejn couplings: We offer Cejn eSafe solutions in series 326 in acid-proof stainless steel AISI 316, which combine high flow capacity with corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.
- Compresssed air quick couplings: Our range of compresssed air couplings includes simple pneumatic connections and robust solutions for complex industrial systems. If you need compressed air coupling housings, sockets, nipples and hose couplings, we also have these in stock.
- Push-in & push-on fittings: Available in both AISI 316 stainless steel for hygienic areas and in POM for economical and lightweight installations where chemical resistance is still a requirement.

Frequently asked questions
What media can your couplings for fluids handle?
Our couplings for fluids are suitable for water and a range of other industrial liquids, such as process water, cleaning fluids, oils and certain chemicals, depending on the choice of materials and seals. We are happy to help clarify media compatibility so that you get a solution that is both chemically resistant and reliable in your specific application.
Can I use compressed air couplings in food production?
Yes, compressed air couplings can be used in food production when they are made of suitable materials and meet the hygiene and safety requirements applicable to food production.
What are the advantages of safety couplings for compressed air?
Safety couplings automatically equalise the pressure when disconnected, preventing recoil and reducing the risk of hose whip and pressure surges in the system. This protects both employees and equipment, reduces wear on hoses and couplings, and provides a more controlled and safer working environment.
How do I know when it is time to replace my couplings?
It is typically time for replacement if you experience leaks, slack in the coupling mechanism, problems with connection/disconnection, or if the gaskets show signs of cracking, deformation or chemical degradation.
What should I be aware of when choosing working pressure?
Always choose couplings that are approved for a working pressure higher than your maximum system pressure, and remember to take into account pressure surges, temperature effects and safety factors. It is a good idea to think in terms of complete solutions, so that hoses, couplings and fittings are all dimensioned for the same pressure level and the same standards.
