Installation and dismantling

The hose end is first cut to create a straight, uncompressed edge, after which it is inserted into the fitting until a discernible click is felt, signifying the engagement of an internal O-ring that securely locks the hose in place. This approach allows hoses to be connected and disconnected quickly and easily without having to disassemble or damage the hose or fitting. 

To remove a hose from a push-in fitting, first push the release ring inwards to release the locking mechanism. Then you can pull the hose away from the fitting. It is important to be careful when removing the hose, as it can be dangerous if the hose is under pressure. Be sure to shut off or disconnect any liquid or gas flow before removing the hose to avoid injury or accidents. 

Types and application

Push-in fittings can be connected to pipes or hoses by "pushing" them into a push-in port. Push-in fittings have at least one push-in port and are available in a number of variants, including angled, straight and reducing fittings with various thread types. 

Push-in T-fittings 
A Push-in T-union connects three tubes of the same diameter via a cross-shaped construction. T-fittings with reduction allow the connection of hoses with different diameters. There are also T-fittings with a mix of push-in and thread, where two of the ports are push-in and one is threaded. Push-in T-fittings are a reliable and simple solution for connecting three hoses with the same or different diameters. 

Straight and reducing push-in fittings 
Straight fittings have the same diameter on all ports and are suitable for coupling hoses of the same size. Reducing fittings have varying port diameters and allow coupling of hoses of different sizes. This can be useful when reducing or increasing hose size during installation. 

Push-in angle fittings
