Our pneumatic hoses are made of the material polyamide, which in everyday speech is also known under the trade name nylon. Polyamide was originally developed for nylon stockings but is now also used for plastic products such as pneumatic hoses. A pneumatic hose in polyamide carries a number of advantages due to its material properties:
A pneumatic hose from Alfotech comes with an extremely good resistance to oil, grease, fuel, organic solvents, as well as acid and salt solutions. Our pneumatic hoses can be delivered color-coded in for example red, blue, green, black, or natural, enabling you to matchmake them with colors on the production plant. Our pneumatic hose AIRTOP is suitable for compressed air installations, equipment, and tools. Besides its construction with black SBR cover on the outside and black NBR/SBR on the inside, it is reinforced with textile fibers.
All our pneumatic hoses comply with a safety factor of ≥ 3 times working pressure, and this naturally increases safety in connection with use in the process industry. In addition, our pneumatic hoses – including our models PA 12 and PA 12 - high temperature – always comply with current legislation and production standards such as RoHS.
