Wear-resistant cleaning and low-pressure hoses for the food industry
In modern production environments, cleaning is an integral part of daily operations. This is especially true in the food, dairy and process industries, where hygiene requirements are high and cleaning tasks are repeated frequently. We offer cleaning and low-pressure hoses that are designed to meet the requirements for flexibility, wear resistance and temperature resistance in these environments.
The hoses are typically used for rinsing, foam cleaning and light cleaning tasks with hot water or mild chemicals. Whether for a single workstation or a fully integrated low-pressure system, it is essential that the hose functions reliably and withstands daily wear and tear. The choice of material, construction and compatibility with cleaning agents play a key role in this regard.
To give you an insight into the possibilities, we present three hose variants with different properties and areas of application: Foam Cleaner, Isar Water and Thermoclean 100 Antimicrobial.
Materials and technical properties

The cleaning and low-pressure hoses in our range cover a variety of needs in terms of temperature, pressure and cleaning method. The Foam Cleaner hose is made of extra flexible PVC and has a blue, wear-resistant outer jacket, making it particularly suitable for foam cleaning with hot water and chemicals. With a temperature resistance of up to 70 °C and high resistance to both alkaline and acidic cleaning agents, Foam Cleaner is a reliable choice for daily cleaning tasks in demanding food environments.
Another variant is Isar Water, which is made of NBR rubber on the inside and NBR/PVC on the outside and designed for flushing and rinsing where the requirements for heat resistance and chemical resistance are moderate. Isar Water is a durable water and flushing hose with NBR rubber on both the inside and outside. It is food-approved, can withstand up to 20 bar and is a solid choice for tasks where low weight, flexibility and durability must go hand in hand.
For tasks where more conventional cleaning agents must be used, Thermoclean 100 is a relevant choice. It is constructed in 5 layers of PVC and has good resistance at higher tempertures. It is food-approved and has an antimicrobial outer surface that prevents the growth of mould and mildew, even with frequent use in damp environments.
How the hoses perform in practice
Cleaning and low-pressure hoses are used in a wide range of industrial contexts where cleaning is an integral and important part of the workflow. They can be used in manual cleaning tasks, where an operator uses a hose to rinse machines, tanks or surfaces, or they can be part of fixed installation systems with a central water or foam supply.
In the article Mission Cleanliness, we review the Foam Cleaner, Isar Water and Thermoclean 100 and show how each performs in different scenarios. This provides a solid basis for choosing the hose that best suits your needs.
Customisation, assembly and advice
To ensure optimal integration into your production environment, we offer customisation of cleaning and low-pressure hoses in terms of length and with the exact coupling types used in your system. Whether you need pipe thread nipples or union nuts, ISO, DIN, Tri-Clamp or Cejn couplings, we assemble them in our own workshop and deliver complete, tested units.
All our hose solutions are supplied with labelling and documentation of material approvals. This ensures compliance with both internal quality requirements and external standards, e.g. in connection with food control or pharma audits.
If you need help choosing the right hose for your media, temperature, working pressure and cleaning routines, our technical team is available to provide advice and support. We are committed to delivering solutions that are precisely tailored to your needs – both practical and regulatory.
Frequently asked questions

Can Isar Water be used for cleaning with cleaning agents?
Isar Water is suitable for clean water and light foam cleaning, but is not recommended for use with aggressive chemicals or high temperatures.
What is the advantage of antimicrobial hoses?
Hoses such as Thermoclean 100 Antimicrobial inhibit bacterial growth on the hose surface, contributing to higher hygiene standards in environments with constant moisture and heat.
Is there a difference between the inner and outer hose surfaces?
Yes. Some hoses have a smooth inner surface for easy cleaning, while others – such as Thermoclean 100 Antimicrobial – have a double jacket with an insulated outer surface.
Do you offer hoses with pre-assembled couplings?
Yes, we supply cleaning and low-pressure hoses with the type of coupling that suits your installation. Everything is assembled and pressure tested in our own workshop.
How do I choose the right hose for my system?
It depends on the cleaning agents and temperatures you work with and whether there are food approval requirements. Our advisors will help you find the solution that best suits your needs.
